Embodied Expressions through Art and Word

May 16 @ 10:00 am12:30 pm
What does your body have to say?
So often, our stories are filtered through the intellect—analyzed, edited, and packaged before they ever reach the surface. In this workshop, we invite you to bypass the “editor” and move into immediate expression.
Welcome to our next facilitated session at SEED.

Join Tina and Jan as they invite you into a morning of movement and immediate expression—exploring what happens when we stop analyzing our feelings and start letting them move through us. In this workshop, we navigate away from the noise of overthinking and into the landscape of the present moment.
We begin with the body, using music as a direct invitation to settle into our physical presence. There is no need for a predetermined plan; we simply listen to the impulses as they arise, letting the sound guide us into an immediate expression of what is actually here, right now.
As the body begins to speak through movement, we transition that energy directly into painting and writing without stopping to edit or judge. The goal is not to create a finished piece of art, but to allow the emotion to roll out onto the paper until it has found its own release.
This is an exploration of the space where body, sounds, colours and words meet—a chance to experience the relief of letting your inner world be seen and felt as it is.
SEED invites you to join for free!
