SUMMARY:Moving From The Heart
DESCRIPTION:After our January info meeting\, we kick off the series of SEED events with our first session “Moving From the Heart”. SEED stands for Space for Exploration\, Embodiment and Dialogue\, and this event will be inspired by the first E: Exploration. We will explore\, through movement and music\, how we move from the heart. What does it mean to move from the heart? And why do even want or need to move in this way?\nEach event is facilitated by two people from the group\, rotating every session\, and this one will be headed by movement artist Keren Hoffman and musician Frederik Bøje. Both have experience with many forms of artistic movement and will guide us in using our bodies to explore questions and inspire our actions.\nJoin us for free!\n\nSEED is a community initiative that explores ways that we can build the world we want to live in. It offers an alternative to fighting power structures by sharing methods to come into our own power and shine our light into the world. We work with all the bodies – physical\, mental\, emotional and spiritual – to bring more love and goodness into our reality.

DESCRIPTION:Join Julia and Shyaam as they invite you into a morning of movement\, colour\, and meaning-making — exploring what it looks and feels like to stand in your own power\, express what lives inside you\, and understand how you — and others — make sense of the world.\n\nWe begin with Aikido — not as combat\, but as philosophy. Through practice and presence\, we explore what it means to meet life without fighting it. To be rooted. To hold your ground with ease.\nThen we slow down into art. As Julia puts it: “Colours are emotions talking.” We work in the spirit of being in the mystery of who we are\, without judgement.\n\nFollowed by that\, Shyaamlal offers a short lens on how human beings make sense of the world — and what becomes possible when we can recognise where each other is coming from.\nWoven through the workshop: two ways of seeing. Julia\, born in Sri Lanka and raised in Denmark\, and Shyaamlal\, rooted in India — feminine and masculine\, East and West. We are curious about what opens up when we look through each other’s eyes.
